Social Inclusion Days is an initiative organized by Erasmus Student Network (ESN), where more
than 520 ESN sections in 41 countries arrange events to bring together local communities and
international students through volunteering while promoting inclusive mobility programmes.
This two-week initiative, running from 20th of November to 4th of December 2019, will provide
diverse opportunities for international youth to expand their knowledge and contribute to the
improvement of society as international citizens. By enjoying #mobility experience, youth will have
a chance to participate in activities organized by local ESN sections such as donations,
fundaraising campaigns, animal shelter visits, conferences, raising awareness about disabilities, educational
workshops, food drives, and other events focusing to promote social inclusion.
The main goal is to enrich the abroad experience of students by promoting social attitude among
youth during their mobility experience, facilitate their integration into the local community, and
make long-lasting change through volunteering activities. In the framework of the event, the
students will get a chance to make the most of their mobility, and to make society better for
Erasmus Student Network (ESN), the largest student organization in Europe, is present in more
than 1000 Higher Educational Institutions. More than 15,000 students actively participate to help
international friends with the motto “Students helping students”. The primary goal of ESN is to
establish a flexible education environment by developing student exchanges from different levels,
as well as providing an intercultural experience.
